Canyon rescues are considered the most technical of all rescues in a wilderness environment. Complex systems are almost always and employed into any canyon based rescue. Swiftwater canyons add another element or factor into the complexity of the rescue. Our Canyon Rescue programs are for experienced canyoneers and repsonders.
These courses are for responders operating in or responding to incidents in a canyon or riverine environment. These rescue courses cover access, stabilization, patient packaging and extraction of a subject from a canyon or high angle, riverine environment. We recommend you acquire an FCC GMRS or HAM radio operators license before enrolling in these courses.
