Swiftwater rescue refers to the specialized rescue methodologies developed for operations in riverine and other moving-water environments. These skills are directly applicable to flood response operations, including rescues from inundated roadways and urban flooding scenarios.

Our Programs
Our Ice Rescue programs, like all of our training offerings, are delivered by recognized subject matter experts in the discipline. Courses may be conducted within your Area of Responsibility (AOR) when weather and environmental conditions are suitable for safe and effective instruction. We also offer open-enrollment courses at select locations throughout the United States. All programs are compliant with NFPA 1670 and NFPA 1006 and exceed minimum requirements through alignment with U.S. Coast Guard operational standards.

During this 2 day course, students will learn various skills and methods to respond and assist ice rescue personnel on an incident. Scene assessment, equipment, shore based rescues and much more! USCG & NFPA compliant.

During this 2 day course, students will learn how to properly and efficiently perform technical rescues in a surface ice covered environment. Shoreline/riparian rescues up to class IV applications are included in this course. USCG & NFPA compliant.

This 2.5 day course covers advanced mountain rescue techniques for a winter, high angle, ice covered environment/terrain. Technical roping methods are instructed along with remote, winter extractions, deviating ice rescue methods, patient packaging and much more!
